We staged a funeral supper there which was very convenient for friends and family who travelled from far and wide. The facilities were extremely good and the service was truly exceptional. Highly recommend.

The team here couldn't have done more for us, everything was perfectly set up when we arrived for our function and they went above and beyond with special requests. Friendly team who found nothing to much trouble.

Attended a birthday party celebration. Hog roast with music and access to the bar. Very pleasant evening with friends and neighbours.

Fantastic base to explore the surrounding area, lovely comfortable rooms, food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's an average hotel. Could use some maintenence in many areas and modernization. Service was good and friendly. The food was REALLY good.

I could hear people snoring from adjacent rooms and the room above me, as well as their phones vibrating and most movement - not recommended if you'd like to sleep!

We've just had the most fabulous stay here! We checked in, bang on, check in time 2pm, everything was ready, and ample, free, car parking space! The room was superb, tea/coffee, TV, trousers press, iron and hair dryer! There are plenty of drawers and wardrobe space for 2 people. The room and entire hotel was fresh, clean, and beautifully decorated throughout. The bathroom had everything you'd need, we did book a bath for our room, but my hubby likes a shower; we had that too. Breakfast was included and was absolutely perfect, cereals, yogurt fruits and juices all ready to help yourselves, then Jayne took our order for the cooked breakfast; we think she was the chef too! Well, it was stunning! I actually couldn't wait til next breakfast 😋😆. There were lots of other staff, unfortunately, I didn't ask their names, but we can honestly say everyone at Woodlands was exceptionally efficient, friendly and always helpful. The outside seating area is well lit up and so beautifully kept, we took a few photos, and the garden is small, but so we'll kept, and are full of mature trees and planting. We walked to town. It's a 7 to 10 minute dawdle, so the Woodlands is definitely ideally situated for drinks, dining out, visiting museums, walking along the river, full shopping etc. We're planning our next stay! This is an absolute Must to stay if you're ever in the Spalding are💯💯💯💯💯

Only stayed one night. Our room okay. We thought it needed a bit of TLC and an update of some of the furnishings.

The hotel is very tired. Staff were very nice. Room wasn't properly cleaned. Lots of small hairs in bed (looked like arm hairs, possibly from cleaner). Shower had lots of mould and limescale (see pics and video). Tea/coffee tray not cleaned from last guest. Inside of kettle made me want to vomit. Lots of floating limescale and chunks inside (if you're in a hard water area you need to use descaler such as Oust to regularly clean appliances, tip there for you). Sink in bathroom was cracked. Both bedside lights didn't work, and 1 bulb was even missing (lights need to be checked when you clean the rooms). Breakfast was included but basic, although sandwich I had was very nice (compliments to the chef). Noisy rooms (ground floor). Why is furniture moved around above randomly?) Always the same in old hotels/b and b's...! I didn't have a good night sleep. Furniture was not cleaned properly and also badly stained. For the price of the room (even though breakfast was included) I wasn't expecting the Ritz but it was way over priced. It's probably worth £60 a night, not £94. Would I return? No, not if I had other options.

Have just held a birthday party at The Woodlands. Perfect venue for our needs, the staff were excellent, very attentive and nothing was to much trouble for any of them. They buffet provided was good and plentiful and was kept replenished during the evening. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone hosting a similar event

Disgusting breakfast every overcooked, I never saw a runny egg yolk for 3days Room 8 had adjoining central heating and cleaning room, constant noise from the pumps and cleaner day and night WIFI did not work inmy room it also failed on checkout and had to be rebooted !!! The AA needs to re evaluate it 3Star rating !! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No service, you had to ring a bell, the cook alway had earfones in !!!

Our new daughter-in-law and our son held their Wedding and reception at the Woodlands Hotel on the 10th June and we would like to thank Ghan and his staff on an amazing day you gave them everything thing was first class please thank your team from our family they worked very hard. Lovely hotel

Booked Christmas Dinner for my partner and myself.. It was Wonderful... Food Great, Service Great Value Excellent, Staff Very helpful and friendly. Gan, He had the whole place running like a well oiled ship... He even helped serve out meals and take orders as well as making sure all his team was making our day,, Very Special.

We had a wake here following my mum's funeral and we couldn't have picked a better place. The organisation was excellent and the staff were all amazing. The food was freshly cooked and plenty of it. Thank you for making a hard day much easier.
